"Every year when we carve pumpkins I try to come up with something original to do, rather than buy those pattern books. This year, obviously, the GameCube is weighing heavily on my mind. Since I really like the 3D logo Nintendo came up with for the cube, it seemed like a natural idea. I found a copy of the logo on the net, printed it out to size, and transferred it (just like you would one of those patterns). The whole thing didn't take long at all due to the simplicity of the carving. Sadly, due to the dire lack of humidity in our house it's already mostly dead."

GameCubicle.com's winning Pumpkin Carving Exhibit contributor, Eric P. of Milwaukee, contributed this unbelievable carving - a tribute to NST's wonderful water racing title, Wave Race: Blue Storm. Eric writes, "Just trying to 1up myself. I had one left over regular size pumpkin, and one tiny one, so I did this."

"It took me about an hour to make a design that looked decent. I carved it out in a night, and it's barely surviving the freezing weather."

Mr. Kane found a way to create a carving relating both to Nintendo and Halloween... "Boo!  Boo, inspired by Luigi's Mansion,  took a little under an hour to create using a standard pumpkin carver."

"Ever since Nintendo revealed their GameCube logo, I've loved it! I wanted to make sure at least one of my pumpkins was Nintendo related.  From a picture off the net, this GameCube logo pumpkin took around 1 hour to make.  I was going to carve the logo plus the words "NINTENDO GAMECUBE" into it but due to lack of time (and arm strength from carving a few other pumpkins) the logo is all I got.  I did print out a picture from the net of the words "NINTENDO GAMECUBE" and leaned it against the front of the glowing Jack-o-lantern for all of the trick-or-treaters to see.  All the reactions I got were good ones.  Things from young boys saying, 'Wow! Cool! Nintendo GameCube!' to a neighbor saying, 'My husband loves playing Nintendo.  He wants the Cube as well!  You should come over and play sometime!'  Not too bad if you ask me!"
